Fun, Community, Silly Hats
Aurora Bowers is an old-time, bluegrass, and country fiddler who loves fun and silly hats. Her love of fun and silly hats extends to her playing and her teaching, and she aims to bring a spirit of community and inclusivity to everything she does musically. You can typically find her playing with the Honeybucket Stringband or yammin’ with the local Fairbanks yammers. She doesn’t teach lessons these days, but has an entire self-guided fiddle school with many weeks’ worth of fiddle tunes to learn!
Tune of the Week
The Tune of the Week Club is a fun lesson series that provides all the resources you would typically receive in a private lesson. Each week there is an instructional video, then a slow play-along video, a fast play-along video, and a written cheat sheet for each tune. Also included is one video showing a “fancy” version. Bonus material includes a beginner series and a 5-lesson series called “How to turn your classical violinist into a fiddler.”
